Hello everyone,

Another busy month for us all. The city continues to buzz and the general comments you are giving us reflect that people continue to shop local and Love Launnie which is great.

The Cityprom precinct champions met with the Cityprom board this month, so make sure you touch base with your Precinct Champion to keep up to date with all of the latest happenings.

The Love Launnie TV adverts have now finished, but Winterlicious is well underway, we hope you enjoy your sneak peek of the Winterlicious TV advert, complimented by newspaper and online advertising we will be pushing the 'un-hibernate' message to all locals, to come and enjoy the city in the coming weeks. Let us know in the Winterlicious EOI - it could be a winter happy hour, soup, sale, or new stock - we will get it up on the Winterlicious page on launcestoncentralcity.com.au. The more that's there, the more foot traffic in the city will flow, so don't forget to let us know what your business has on the go at the moment so that we can promote it.

Along with Cakealicious, July brings the launch of the new festival 'Agricultured', which will have a hub in Civic Square, the return of the Launceston Night Markets and footy weekends - so there is a lot to leverage off. I'd like to extend a particular congratulations to Lauren, Nathan and the team at Stelo at Pierre's who created a Sunday night speakeasy bar as part of Tourism Tasmania's Off Season campaign an also registered it with Winterlicious. It's been an absolute hit and a great example of what's possible when you take a moment to get involved by supporting campaigns. The more businesses in the city who do this, the more we attract visitors and a vibrant and economically buoyant city!

We are more than willing to help you with ideas and they can be very simple and perhaps something that you are already doing, so please let us know if you'd like one of our team to pop in for a chat.

There are a couple of major pieces of news in relation to Cityprom and our activities that will be coming in the next month, so watch this space. Have a great month ahead and I hope to see as many of our retail members as possible at Monday's event. We are extremely lucky to have secured Dr. Louise Grimmer from UTAS to speak so I look forward to spending some time with you all there.

Yours in positivity for our city!
