The ClimateClever Initiative is a new and engaging online platform designed to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint, save money on utility bills and become a leader in sustainability and climate action.

City of Launceston has recently partnered with ClimateClever to encourage our community to be part of creating a low carbon future. The ClimateClever Initiative is a new and engaging online platform designed to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint, save money on utility bills and become a leader in sustainability and climate action.

The ClimateClever platform has been developed following years of research and successful pilots and demonstration projects with Curtin University and the CRC for Low Carbon Living. ClimateClever has distilled the most effective components of these pilots to create an innovative, data-driven platform, consisting of three interactive online tools; Measure, Audit and Action.

Using the ClimateClever platform, businesses can calculate and track their carbon footprint, audit their buildings, and create a personalised action plan to reduce consumption, costs, and carbon emissions across all utilities (electricity, gas, water and waste). They can also offset their carbon emissions to become carbon neutral.

City of Launceston are offering the program for free to 2 more businesses that sign up that are located in the Launceston Council area and have less than 100 staff.
